LG is planning to launch an Optimus 3D successor at next month’s Mobile World Congress. Dubbed as CX3, this is minor upgrade over the original. It is expected to go on sale in early Spring sporting Gingerbread.

According to report in Pocketnow, LG CX2 (code-name) will come with 1.2GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch 3D NOVA display, dual 5MP rear camera for 3D recording, 8GB internal memory, and usual connectivity options. It will also be slimmer than the predecessor by around 2mm.

There are no other details available right now, but we will keep digging and update the post when available.
