Panasonic has revealed its first Android smartphone for European market – ‘Eluga’ yesterday at a company event. It will go on sale starting April in Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. Being manufactured at a company facility in Malaysia, Eluga was first show-cased as a prototype last year in December.
Panasonic Eluga will feature a 4.3 inch qHD OLED display, 8MP rear camera, 1GHZ TI OMAP dual core processor, Android 2.3.5, NFC, and 7.8mm thick profile. It is also water-proof, dust-proof and will weigh just 103 grams. Company has promised the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the smartphone in the summer.
There is no word on the price right now or the exact release date.
