Along with two LTE smartphones announced earlier yesterday, ZTE is also going to unveil another Android 4.0 phone Mimosa X at Mobile World Congress. This smartphone is special because of the use of Tegra 2 and NVIDIA’s Icera model technology.
Chip-maker NVIDIA relied on Qualcomm’s connectivity solutions till now to accompany its processors in smartphone devices, but no-more. Acquired by the company last year, Icera’ modem technology in now being used by company’s Tegra 2 SoC in ZTE Mimosa X.
“The ZTE Mimosa X is exciting for a few reasons. The Mimosa X marks the first time NVIDIA technology powers all the major processors in a single smartphone, and also the first time a premium mobile computing experience is coming to the mainstream smartphone market.”

This smartphone features 4.3inch qHD display, 5MP rear camera, 4GB of internal storage and will be available in the market around Q2. Mimosa X will also come Dolby sound, DLNA compatibility, dual microphones, and built-in gyroscope.
