Apex Launcher updated to version 1.0.3 on Google Play (If you can access it)

Apex Launcher

The Google Play Store seems to be having its fair share of issues today, though I was able to manage to snag one pretty important update just a few minutes ago. Apex Launcher, one of the latest homescreen replacement applications to join the already-polluted crowd, was updated to version 1.0.3 this afternoon.

While there are many options available, ask anyone who owns an Ice Cream Sandwich device and they will tell you — Apex Launcher is the shiz (excuse my French), and today’s update makes it even more awesome than it already was. First off, a new infinite scrolling option has been added, which is sometimes referred to as “bounce”. Also, users can now check for updates with the included OTA checker and will now see the changelog for future updates via a new version notification system.

Apex Launcher’s homescreen, drawer and dock transition effects have been improved and a new transition effect called “Cube (inside)” has been added. The last noted change in the newest version is improved preview and drawer notifications.

Now, if you’re able to access Google Play, you should be able to download your awaiting update. If you need a fresh (and free) install, here’s a link to the app below. Make sure to let us know if you are able to download in your locale — we’re really hoping these Play Store issues work themselves out in the next few hours.

Unfortunately, dyrs, I think you are experiencing the same issues a lot of people are having with the Google Play Store. I would assume Google is already aware of these issues and should be working on a fix. I urge you not to sell your Transformer Prime — it is a superior device in comparison to the iPad.
