Sony Xperia S lands in Singapore

Sony Mobile has officially started selling Android powered Xperia S in Singapore. It is the first Sony branded smartphone to land in the country. This Gingerbread phone can now be purchased at a recommended retail price of S$898 without contract from all major retail stores.

First announced at Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, Sony Xperia S features 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch Reality Display with 1280x720p resolution, 12MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, NFC, and 1GB RAM.

According to Sony, Xperia S will be upgraded to Android 4.0 during the second quarter of this year.

    That comes to INR 35k…
Too expensive for a phone that ships with Android 2.3.7.
I’d rather wait for the HTC One series releasing worldwide on April.
    One X has a Tegra 3 and One S has a S4 Krait!
