Sony has decided to remind us via company blog that it has started shipping Xperia S globally and we are hearing that it could launch in India soon.  While there is no official time-frame right for India launch, but it can happen as early as early as first week of April.

According to a company blog post today, Sony’s first self-branded Android smartphone Xperia S is now officially being launched in markets across the globe. It has already available in some markets for last couple of weeks.

Xperia S features 4.3 inch 720p display, dual core processor, 1GB RAM, Gingerbread, and 12.1 MP camera. We are expecting India price to be around INR 31K and it would be competing with the likes of upcoming Galaxy Nexus, HTC One S smartphones.
