Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 gets a price cut, now selling for INR 28,500

We are a little late in reporting, but Samsung’s 7.7 inch Honeycomb tablet Galaxy Tab 680 has got the first price cut in India recently. Originally launched for INR 34,900, it is now down to just INR 28,500, making it one of the best looking high-end 3G tablet deals in India.

At this price, you will be getting a 7.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 1280x800p resolution, Android 3.2, 1.4GHz dual core processor, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, 3MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

Company has pre-loaded its Touchwiz UX over Honeycomb and you get a pre-loaded set of apps like Social Hub, Readers Hub, Game Hub, and Mini Apps.

So, what do you guys think about the current pricing?

Thanks everyone who sent this in

With no ICS, the price may still be too high at this time when ICS items are coming up. However, this tab has got good reviews, so it may be down to personal choices.

The price is still to much for a 7 inch android tab, iPad 2 after price cut is being sold at this price with 10 inch display and more than 2lac apps on app store.

This price could be justified for a 10 inch tablet with ICS on board.
