One of 2012’s most talked about games, Zynga’s Scramble With Friends, was updated yesterday with UI support for one 2012’s most talked about phones, the Samsung Galaxy Note. This comes as great news to many people in the Android community, especially considering Sammy’s most recent count of over 5 million Note’s shipped in 5 months.
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months and have yet to stumble onto the phenomenon that is Scramble With Friends, it is a really fun and addicting game of finding words in a jumbled grid. You must quickly slide your finger over adjacent letters to form words forwards, backwards, sideways or any other way you can — as long as the letters touch one another.
Scramble has only been on available for Android for a short period of time, but has already managed to surpass one million downloads on Google Play and maintains a very respectable 4.5-star rating, with over 64,000 5-star reviews. Pretty much anywhere you go these days you will surely see someone engaged in a furious game, sliding their finger across the screen like a crackhead.
The ability to easily challenge friends from Facebook and Twitter makes the game all the more fun. All you have to do is scan your friend lists to see who is already playing and send them a challenge, or you can invite other users who aren’t already playing to join in the fun.
If you already have Scramble With Friends installed, head over to Google Play for the update. If not, feel free to hit up the link below.
