Samsung Galaxy S III announced, coming with 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display

After months of waiting, Samsung has officially announced the company flagship smartphone for 2012 today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S III, it will go on sale in across the world starting the end of this month.

Coming to the juicy details, Samsung Galaxy S III sports a 4.8–inch 720p display, 1.4GHZ Exynos 4 quad core processor, Android 4.0, include 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 16 or 32GB of storage with microSD expansion, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS, 802.11n Wi-Fi, NFC, and a 2,100mAh battery.

    which can be done in samsung note.

    NDTV stated that the SIII will be selling for an MRP of Rs. 38000 with a steet price of Rs. 34000!!!
    Seems reasonable to me…
    Can’t wait for the first week of June!!!

    yrs..Quite Disappointed…
    Its looks like the galaxy nexus at a glance…
    i think its better to go for HTC One X…
    Actualy 1.4ghz dual core is enough to handle ICS aka 4.0 without lagging..
    If u consider the looks and build quality then better is HTC…

    samsung galexy s2 have better looking than galexy s3.This new model looks like my old O2 mobile which i brought in 2005. Really,htc one x is more awesome.

    What about the cost ?? Came to know that it will be released in India on 29th of May from their live telecast. Samsung galaxy S2 price has come down to 25900 rupees. and note remains the same. Will the price of these older 1s come down. ?

    Quite Disappointed, was expecting better Hardware. RAM should have been 2 GB to handle such a device. lets see how it goes performance wise.

      When u have a 1.4Ghz Quad core the RAM doesn’t count… It will give u much better performance than any other 1.4Ghz dual core processor… Verdict: This is the best one yet. Better than HTC One X
