G’Five launches five Android smartphones in India, starting INR 7,000

Chinese manufacturer G-Five has announced the launch of not one or two but five Android smartphones in the country. Targeted to budget Android buyers, these smartphones are powered by Android 2.3 and Android 4.0 with four of them sporting a huge 2800 mAh battery.

These smartphone also come pre-loaded with company G-Cloud service, which gives the consumers 5.5GB of free cloud space to store their content.

“We are very happy to bring next generation technology for our Indian customers, after creating an unprecedented buzz in global market by bringing in technologically advanced and feature rich product range for the masses; we at G’Five Mobiles intend to engage the audience with our latest offering of the ‘G Cloud’. The G’Five Mobile with Cloud is designed as a cloud backup system, allowing its users to use all the functions and store data of their phones over the cloud. “

Company also stated that it plans to launch 16 more smartphones by the end of September and 42 smartphones by the Q1 of 2013.

    Gfive should use snapdragon processor.But they are using MTK6575(mediatek)processors.Mediatek has many drawbacks.Its source code is closed.So the custom roms are not possible in mediatech processors

    HVGA resolution in a 4″ mobile. and i thought it was Samsung who was launching QVGA in 3.3″ mobile. welcome to the world of crap droid.

    BTW MTK6575 is a meditek processor based on ARM Cortex A9 and have PowerVR SGX 531 Ultra. So it lacks graphics power but have excellent processing power.

    WTF is wrong with the resoultions on these phones ?
    Are they serious? everything else seems fine but such bad res is def deal killer.
