Lenovo IdeaPad K1 gets a price cut, now selling for INR 22,724 in India

Lenovo has reduced the price of its Honeycomb tablet IdeaPad K1 in India. The 32GB 3G/Wi-Fi version of the tablet is now selling for as low as INR 22,724 on Flipkart. Surprisingly, even the Wi-Fi only version is also listed under the same price on the website.

The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android 3.1, however Lenovo has promised an update to Ice Cream Sandwich, which will be rolled out over the air sometime this year.

Key specs:

  • Android v3.1 (Honeycomb)
  • 10.1 inch HD LED multitouch display
  • NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 1 GHz dual-core processor
  • 5MP rear and 2MP front camera
  • Wi-Fi/ 3G
  • Expandable Storage via microSD card

The tablet was originally launched in the country in October last year for INR 29,500 (Wi-Fi), INR 33,990 (Wi-Fi + 3G).
