LG Singapore confirms ICS update for Optimus Black, 2X, 3D and Prada phone

LG Optimus seriesLG has been doing a lot of flip-flops with Ice Cream Update lately, but it seems everything is going to be good at last. Company’s Singapore arm today confirmed on its official Facebook page that the Ice Cream Sandwich updates are final for Optimus Black, Optimus 2X, 3D, LTE, and Prada phone.

This is the second confirmation for each Optimus 2X and Optimus Black in the recent few days, despite the fact the LG Canada had earlier denied the ICS updates for these devices.

Anyways, LG seems to be coming around and unless LG Singapore has messed up, we should be seeing the ICS roll-out for all the above devices in the coming weeks.

Company has also stated that the final details will be shared in the coming days.

We hear you these recent weeks and would like to share with everyone that our Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) upgrade schedule is set and final details will be announced when they are ready. We are now working to fine-tune the upgrade for a better experience for all our customers. The following models will receive the ICS upgrade in due time:

LG Optimus 2X

LG Optimus Black

LG Optimus 3D

LG Prada

LG Optimus LTE

LG Optimus 2X

LG Optimus Black

LG Optimus 3D

LG Prada

LG Optimus LTE
