It seems Galaxy S II variants weren’t enough for Samsung, so the company has launched a new limited edition of the smartphone in Germany today. Featuring Swarovski crystals, it is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S II Crystal Edition.
It features a back cover with white leather finish and 129 Swarovski elements.
According to Samsung Germany, this limited edition phone will be priced at 5999 euros and will start selling in the country this October. Company also plans to showcase Samsung Galaxy S II Crystal Edition at the upcoming IFA trade fair.
Samsung has not revealed the launch plans for other countries and it is highly unlikely that we will see in many markets.
The smartphone has the same specs as the original Galaxy S II – Gingerbread (upgradable to ICS), 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera.
