Sony India officially launches Xperia tipo and Xperia tipo dual

Sony India has officially announced Xperia tipo and tipo dual at a press event in Delhi today.  Priced at INR 9,499 and Rs 10,449, both the smartphones are currently available in the country.

“With the Xperia brand, our aim has always been to innovate ahead of consumer demand. After the launch of Xperia NXT series earlier this year, we are now launching the phones that will reach out to entire India.”

Both the smartphone come with same specs apart from the dual-SIM connectivity that is present in tipo dual. Other specs include 3.2-inch display with 480x320p resolution, Android 4.0, 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 2.5GB internal storage and 3.2MP rear camera.

Company has also tried up with Box to provide 50GB of free cloud storage to Xperia tipo and tipo dual users.

  • 13 mm thick and weighs 99.4g
  • 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio with RDS
  • 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi
  • 1500 mAh battery
  • Black, white, red and blue colours for Xperia tipo/ black and silver for Xperia tipo dual
  • Preloaded Bollywood Hungama, Cricbuzz apps

    The battery has to be good otherwise this good phone will be a waste.

    Not Bad, But lacks support for DLNA and HTML5 otherwise good phone for the price, Atleast better priced then the MIRO
