Barnes & Noble has put up its Nook tablets on pre-order in the United Kingdom, making it the only country apart from US to get these tablets.
B&N’s Nook HD and Nook HD+ tablets have been priced starting GBP 159 and GBP 229 respectively.
Coming to the tablets, Nook HD features a 7-inch 1440x900p display, 1.3GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB GB internal storage, microSD card slot, custom OS based on Android 4.0 and Wi-Fi. There is a 16GB version of the same tablet on sale, which has been priced at GBP 189.
On the other hand, Nook HD+ is a nine-inch tablet with 1920x1280p resolution display, 1.5GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. There is a 32GB version of the same tablet on sale, which has got the price tag of GBP 269.
Both the tablets will start shipping in late November.
