Nexus 7 3G version spotted at Taiwanese regulator website, launching on Oct 29?

We first heard about the Nexus 7 3G version back in September and it seems the rumour was true. A 32GB variant of Nexus 7 tablet with 3G capabilities has recently passed Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) testing.

The NCC document, which was spotted by folks at VR-Zone China,  shows ME370TG as the model number for this variant, which makes sense considering the model number of normal Nexus 7 tablet is ME370T and the ‘G’ in model number signifies 3G.

The NCC document does not reveal anything else, but we think Google is going to announce it at the October 29 event along with the rumoured Nexus smartphones, $99 Nexus 7 tablet and the 32GB/64GB versions of Nexus 7.

The 3G version is also likely keep the price low and we expect the 32GB 3G Nexus 7 to cost somewhere around $350 or may be $300, it Google is too aggressive.

Other specs are likely to remain same, 1.3Ghz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 7-inch HD display and Android 4.1.2.
