Samsung confirms Galaxy Camera price in Germany – €599

samsung-GALAXY_Camera_with_logoSamsung might have unveiled the Galaxy Camera at IFA trade fair in late August, but the pricing of this smart camera was a big mystery. The Korean manufacturer was also silent on the pricing of Galaxy Camera at the Note II launch event in India, where Galaxy Camera was also announced for the country.

Well, we might not have the final Indian price right now, but thanks to company’s announcement in Germany, we have a pretty good idea around how much it is going to cost in the country.

According to Samsung, Galaxy Camera will go on sale in Germany by the end of this month for €599, which is around INR 40,500 at the current exchange rate. The pricing seems in line with company’s other high-end Android launches in the recent few months.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Camera features 3G, Wi-Fi, 21x optical zoom lens, 16M BSI CMOS sensor, 8GB internal storage and 4.77-inch HD Super Clear LCD. It also comes with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Jelly Bean, Bluetooth, GPS and 1650mAh battery.

The camera weighs 30.5 grams and will release with full access to Google Play and Google suit of apps. The Galaxy Camera is set to be launched in India before the festival of Diwali.
