Zync launches 9.7-inch Android 4.0 tablet Z1000 for INR 10,990

Zync Global Private Limited has officially launched a new 9.7-inch tablet in the country. Priced at INR 10,990, the tablet will be known
as Zync Z1000. It is already available for purchase at online retailers like Flipkart and Homeshop18.

Z1000 currently runs on Android 4.0 out of the box, however the company has promised Jelly Bean upgrade in the future. The tablet also houses 9.7-inch display with 1024x768p resolution and 1.5GHz Cortex A8 processor.

Zync Z1000 comes with in-built 3G support, which is often missing from budget tablets.

Other specs include 1GB RAM, 0.3MP front camera, 2MP rear camera, 8GB internal storage expandable upto 32GB, a SIM card slot, mini HDMI port and two micro USB ports.

There is a 7000mAh battery at core in this tablet, which should ideally last for a day during normal usage. To sweeten the deal, the company is also offering freebies worth INR 1,350 with every purchase like a lycra pouch, screen protector, pair of earphones and 1 month subscription for BigFlix.

“This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution with a face-unlocking feature. As of now, the product is running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months,” said Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited.
