LG Optimus L9 now on pre-order India for INR 19,990

LG has quietly put the fourth smartphone of its L-Style series “Optimus L9” on pre-order in the country. The phone was earlier spotted on LG India website with INR 22,000 price-tag, but Flipkart is only asking for INR 19,990, which is expected to be the street price.

The retailer is hoping to get the stocks in first week of next month, which is not very far.

Announced back in August, LG Optimus L9 comes with a big 4.7-inch IPS qHD display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1GB RAM, and 2150 mAh battery.

On-paper the specifications certainly look decent for this price-tag.

This has been a good source of info over the past year.
However, off late there are very few updates.

Please let us know if this is still in good shape.

Nexus 7 launched at crap price (No 32 GB version yet, no 3g)
Motorola closed thier official India wesite.
No other major brand serious about Indian market.

Now, androidos.in has gone silent 🙁
        What went wrong?
