Within 37 days of Samsung Galaxy Note II launch, the smartphone has crossed the 3 million sales milestone. According to Samsung, Note II is selling at more than three times the rate of original Note.
The smartphone, which was originally announced at the Samsung’s Mobile Unpacked event in the late August, went on sale in late September in select countries including South Korea and India.
Looking at the sales number, the initially response has been pretty great for the smartphone, which has a limited appeal comparably to Samsung flagship S III. Galaxy S III has already sold 20 million units in the first 100 days.
Note 2 is also a decent improvement in terms of features over the original. It comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.6GHz quad-core CPU 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera and a massive 3,100mAh battery on-board.
Samsung Galaxy Note II has recently went on sale in the US on select operators and more are going to launch it in the coming days, which will surely increase the sales number of Sammy.
