Two Chinese telecommunication giants Huawei and ZTE are all ready to jump in the lucrative premium smartphone segment after years of making budget phones. Set to be part of the big league, both the smartphones feature industry’s top specs and stunning designs.
Now, new information and images of both the smartphones has appeared in different Chinese websites.
Talking about Huawei’s Ascend D2 first, the smartphone is rumoured to be announced at CES next month with specs like 5-inch 1080p display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor from company’s own stable, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, Jelly Bean and 3,000 mAh battery.
Taking cue from various flagship devices round, the Huawei Ascend D2 will sport a sleek and beautiful looking design. Here is a look at the device.
On the other hand, after launching Z5 under the Nubia brand, ZTE is preparing Grand S for CES debut too. The smartphone is reportedly going to under-cut Nubia Z5 in terms of thickness and will be just 6.9mm thick. Details are a little scarce about the phone, but reports suggest that phone will come with 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP camera and Jelly Bean. The unconfirmed specs include quad-core processor from Qualcomm, and 2GB RAM.
