Intex launches 7-inch Android tablet with voice calling for INR 7,990

Intex has added yet another tablet to its portfolio today. Dubbed as iBuddy Connect, the tablet offers nothing new, but it is the first from the company to come with voice calling support. Intex has priced the tablet at INR 7,990 and it is available at all major retail stores now.

Running on Android 4.0.4, the tablet features a 7-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor and 2MP rear camera. Company has also pre-loaded app and games like Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, India Today and Aaj Tak on the tablet.

“INTEX iBUDDY CONNECT is an interesting blend of latest technologies and smart look. Today, youth segment both in urban and semi-urban cities and towns are looking for a computing gadget which comes with calling facilities as well. Addressing to the evolved needs, we have introduced this compact tablet,” said Sanjay Kumar, General Manager- Mobile Business, Intex Technologies.

Intex has also revealed that it is bundling a free leather cover with attached keyboard along with every iBuddy Connect purchase.
