Meizu MX2 goes on sale in China, Hong Kong and Russia

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has released its latest Flyme OS smartphone MX2 in China, Hong Kong and Russia recently. The smartphone features a 4.4-inch 1280x800p resolution display, 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 16/32/64GB of internal memory.

The smartphone also comes with 8MP rear camera, front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 1,800 mAh battery.Meizu-MX2-sale

Originally announced back in late-November, it is the third Android smartphone from the company.

The operating system in the phone Flyme, is a forked version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.


  • China: RMB 2,499 ($400 / €300) for 16GB and RMB 2,999 ($480 / €360) for 32GB
  • Hong Kong: HK$2999 ($386 / €291) for 16GB and HK$3299 ($425 / €320) for 32GB
  • Russia: 17997 rubles ($587 / €440) for 16GB and 19997 rubles ($650 / €490) for 32GB

There is no word on the 64GB availability or pricing right now in any of the countries.
