Lava is reportedly planning to launch a Jelly Bean tablet in the country. We are anticipating an announcement this week, but it is still unconfirmed. The tablet will join company’s already available ETab Z7H and ETab Z7H+ in the tablet portfolio.
According to a report in Gizbot, this upcoming Lava tablet will feature 1.5GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1. Other specifications are still unknown, but we expect it to be a 7-inch device.

In related news, Lava’s XOLO X500 smartphone is now available in India. Priced at INR 8,999, it is the second Intel-powered Android phone from the company and the first phone to run on Intel’s new Atom Z2420 processor based in Lexington platform.
It was announced last week by the company and join company’s XOLO X900, which is also the first Intel-powered smartphone, in the XOLO smartphone portfolio.
