Japanese telecom operator NTT Docomo has just announced the rumoured LG Optimus G Pro smartphone. Part of telco’s spring line-up, Optimus G Pro L-04E will be available starting April, 2013 in the country.
Optimus G Pro L-04E features Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 5-inch 1920x1080p display, 1.7GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 13MP rear camera and 2.4MP front camera. The smartphone also comes with 3,000 mAh battery, NFC, 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
The phone will be sold in Platinum White and Indigo Black colours.
The announcement comes just hours after that LG revealed that it is starting the global roll-out of Optimus G smartphone. The Optimus G was until only available in US, Canada, Korea and Japan. Company had previously stated that it has sold 1 million units of Optimus G in these countries.

NTT Docomo has also announced seven other Android smartphones in its spring line-up, which include AQUOS PHONE EX SH-04E, MEDIAS X N-04E, ELUGA X P-02E, Xperia ™ Z SO-02E, ARROWS X F-02E, Ascend D2 HW-03E, and MEDIAS W N-05E.
There is no word on the release of LG Optimus G Pro in other countries, however we are actively tracking it and will update once we know something else.
