HTC is planning to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone HTC One aka M7 in the United States on March 22, revealed HTC Source as per its trusted sources. According to this HTC Fan Blog, the smartphone will be launched on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile telecom operators. Looks like Verizon is giving a miss to HTC One, probably because it already carries Droid DNA, which is a similar smartphone.
The blog claims the three aforementioned telcos will start selling HTC M7 on March 22, after the official announcement on February 19 in New York. The smartphone is likely to be priced at $199 and $299 with the usual two year contract for 32GB and 64GB version respectively.
The smartphone will feature a metal casing, front stereo speakers and will be released in Black, Silver/White colours, added HTC Source. Similar sentiments were echoed in the previous leaks too.
HTC Source also noted that T-Mobile version of HTC One (M7) will come with LTE connectivity and is likely to be the first smartphone for the telco to go on sale with LTE support.
HTC One is expected to go on sale first in Europe beginning March 8thfor €649.99 (roughly $880). As pre online reports, HTC One (M7) will feature 4.7-inch 1080p SoLux display, 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 4.3 ultrpixel or 13MP camera, 32/64GB internal storage and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0.
