Samsung Galaxy Note II gets a price cut, now selling for INR 34,990

Soon after reducing the prices of Galaxy S III and S Duos, Samsung India has also lowered the price of Galaxy Note II in the country. The smartphone is now selling for as low as INR 33,800 in brick and mortar stores and around INR 34,990 in online stores.

Originally launched in September in India, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, NFC and 3100mAh battery.

The smartphone also packs S-Pen stylus and comes pre-loaded with several apps customized for the use with this stylus.  The smartphone has already got the Android 4.1.2 update in the country, which also brought features like customizable notification shade, new notification toggles, option to disable multi-window and more.

Samsung Galaxy Note II has been a pretty popular smartphone for the company; more than 5 million units of the smartphone were sold in just two months of launch.
