Swiftkey Flow out of beta, now available as part of Swiftkey 4

swiftkey-4Swiftkey has released a new version of its keyboard app for Android devices in Google Play. The number version 4.0 brings the Swiftkey Flow functionality to the main app, which was until available as a beta for advanced users.

Swiftkey Flow allows users to type by sliding finger from one letter to another similar to stock keyboard in Android 4.2 and Swype. Swiftkey claims that it has the most accurate gesture input and next word prediction technology.

Swiftkey 4 supports typing in 60 languages include the Albanian, Bosnian, Javanese, Sundanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Hindi and Hinglish.

Here is the chage-log of Swiftkey version 4:

  • Flow Through Space: Gesture multiple words without lifting a finger

You can grab the download from Google Play. The app is being sold at  INR 50 for Indian users, for US, the price seems to be $1.99.

    Thank you, SwiftKey! I used the beta version for almost two months and was pretty much happy with the latest iteration. Now happier that I got this as an official update. It is so intuitive that I don’t look at the keyboard .. a glance & swiping of the finger in the direction of the spelling is good enough to get the right word in. Swype Killer ??? Great Job! Seems to have reduced the footprint on the RAM as well.
