XOLO A1000 officially launched for INR 13,999

Lava’s smartphone brand XOLO has officially announced the launch of A1000 Android smartphone today. Packing a huge 5-inch HD display, the smartphone has been priced at INR 13,999. It is already on sale online, as we reported last night.

XOLO A1000 features 1GHz MediaTek MT6577 Cortex A9 dual-core processor, dual-SIM connectivity, 1GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. On the imaging front, the smartphone also packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1.2MP front camera. Both the cameras come with BSI sensors.

According to XOLO, The smartphone will be sold in Black and White colours.

XOLO announces the launch of A1000

With less than 71mm width A1000 is designed for single hand use

XOLO, the Premium Smartphone brand, today announced the launch of its new smartphone XOLO A1000. With the launch of XOLO A1000, the brand has entered the 5-inch Android Smartphone category with a differentiated offering. The XOLO A1000 is just 70.8mm wide & 8.8mm thick, which makes it the first 5” smartphone designed for a single hand operation. It also comes with an HD display and a first of its kind One Glass Solution (OGS) display technology.

XOLO introduced its first smartphone X900 in association with Intel last year, and since then XOLO has launched 6 smartphone Models. XOLO’s latest offering was X500 with 1.2 GHz Intel Processor that surpasses all major competition models in various performance benchmarks.

XOLO A1000 is going to be the company’s first 5 inch smartphone and is carefully designed for single hand use. It is equipped with a 5 inch HD IPS, One Glass Solution (OGS) display with a resolution of 1280×720. It’s the OGS technology of the phone that adds to slimness and sleekness of the device. OGS technology also offers vivid and sharp high resolutions display as it integrates the touch sensor,  display and cover glass into one thus reducing the air gap between all three. Even with its large screen size the device can smoothly fit in palm as it is only 70.8mm wide and 8.8mm thick. It fits in hand comfortably making it very easy to use device even with one hand.

Designed for performance, the XOLO A1000 runs on Android Jelly Bean (4.1) and is powered by Dual Core 1 GHz processor which offers fast application launches, smooth performance and fast user interface (UI) responsiveness. It has a 1GB RAM to let customers run various simultaneous applications smoothly and do more with this device.

The XOLO A1000 sports a 8 MP rear camera and 1.2 MP front camera, both come with BSI sensor technology which delivers advanced imaging capabilities. BSI (Back Side Illumination) Sensor enables to click clear and crisp pictures even in low light environment as it increases the amount of light captured by the lens, hence improving low light imaging performance. It has a dedicated camera key for quicker access to the camera.

It  comes with a powerful 2100 mAh battery and delivers great music experience for music lovers with music playback time of 21 hours. It has an internal memory of 4GB and external memory is expandable up to 32GB.

The XOLO A1000 will be available in the market at Rs. 13,999.

It will be available in two colors black and white.
