Zync to launch five Android tablets in February

Zync has announced that it will be launching at least five new Android tablets in varied display sizes in February. The tablets will come with 7-inch, 8-inch 9.7-inch and 10.1-inch displays.  Company has also revealed that these tablets will be powered by dual-core and quad-core processors.

According to Zync, it plans to price all new tablets below INR 15,000, which isn’t very surprising.

Zync is one of those companies, which suddenly became visible in the Indian market last year with its tablets offerings. May be it was known for building some products, but at least we hadn’t heard of it for making smartphones or tablets. As you can expect, most of the Zync Android devices are re-branded products and offer little distinction from similar products from other manufacturers in the country that too import from China to sell cheap and budget devices.

Coming back to its Zync’s upcoming launches, Zync stated that the 8-inch and 10.1-inch tablet will be powered by quad-core processors, while the 7-inch and 9.7-inch will come with dual-core counterparts.

Company also added that it plans to use Retina like display in some of these tablets along with 32GB of internal storage, and dual-cameras.

“All these five tablets which will be launched towards the end of this month will have a unique USP which no other player has in the market in terms of features and price. Zync is bullish on the tablet market and the price range of these tablets with the latest features is going to sweep people off their feet,” Ashish Garg, director, Zync Global, said.
