After Optimus L3 II and L7 II, LG has now started selling the third smartphone in its L-series II. The LG Optimus L5 II will initially be available in Brazil, followed by countries in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa.
LG has revealed that it will be selling both single SIM as well as dual-SIM models of the phone in these countries. To remind you, Brazil was also the first country to get L3 II smartphone not so long ago.
“The Optimus L5II will offer consumers another great option among devices in the premium 3G market. We believe that the Optimus L5II will prove to be irresistible to people looking for a feature-rich smartphone that complements their unique and individual styles,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
LG Optimus L5 II features 4-inch display, 512MB RAM, 1GHz processor, and Android 4.1.2. Company’s revamped Optimus UX is also present in the smartphone.
“New UX enhancements include Quick Button, which enables users to customize the Hotkey to launch various functions such as QuickMemo, camera, internet, music or any other app. Quick Button is a versatile feature that eliminates the need for tapping repetitively through menus,” LG noted in a press release.
