Motorola begins Jelly Bean update soak test for Droid RAZR, RAZR Maxx

Goes almost stock Android

Motorola has begun pushing Jelly Bean update to select Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx owners in the United States. Also known as soak test, this is not the broad official roll-out, but release to a select few who have agreed to test out the update before the public availability.Droid RAZR White

Company has also shared the change-log for the soak test update and it has some really interesting changes like almost going to stock Android. It is still not 100pc stock version but that is expected because of the involvement of Verizon and Motorola still needs some differentiation from other manufacturers.

Motorola has removed a lot of existing bloatware from these phones and has reverted to stock apps like Gallery, Play Music, and Chrome.

This is certainly a great direction for the company and we hope to see this in the future updates as well as new launches.

You can check out the full change-log at the end of the post. If everything goes well with the update, we can expect the actual full-blown Jelly Bean update release early next week.droid-razr-jelly-bean
