Google reveals Glass specs, MyGlass app lands in Google Play


As, Google gets ready to ship the first batch of Google Glass devices to Explorers, the company has posted the official specifications of this wearable augmented reality computing device.Google Glass

According to the details shared by Google, Glass packs a 640x360p display, which is equivalent to 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away. The on-board camera is 5-megapixels and supports 720p video recording. Glass will provide audio output using a bone conduction transducer.

In addition, the device supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also sports 12GB of usable internal storage, which is synced with Google Drive. According to the company, the battery of Google Glass will sufficient for a typical day’s usage, but notes that using hangouts or video recording can battery intensive tasks.

  • Fit: Adjustable nosepads and durable frame fits any face.

Extra nosepads in two sizes.

  • Charger: Included Micro USB cable and charger.

While there are thousands of Micro USB chargers out there, Glass is designed and tested with the included charger in mind. Use it and preserve long and prosperous Glass use.

  • Compatibility: Any Bluetooth-capable phone.
