HTC launches Desire Q, now available in Taiwan

Within days of HTC Desire Q

HTC Desire Q packs almost the same features as previously released Desire U model. The only difference is looks. It is very surprising why HTC is launching two smartphones with same specs that too in the same country.

HTC Desire Q features single core 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4-inch WVGA display, and 4GB of internal storage. It also comes with a 5MP camera on the back and 1650 mAh removable battery.

There is no word if the phone will be released in any other markets outside Taiwan, but given recent HTC launches, we are sceptical.

HTC Desire Q key features:

  • Dimensions: 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3mm, weight: 114 grams
  • 4-inch touch screen with 800x480p resolution
  • 1GHz processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB of internal storage
  • GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB
  • 5MP rear camera with LED Flash
  • Beats Audio
  • 1650 mAh battery
