iBall launches 7-inch Slide 6309i tablet for INR 5,199


iBall has announced the launch of a new Android tablet in its Slide portfolio today. Known as iBall Slide 6309i, the tablet sports a 7-inch display, company noted in a press release. The tablet has been priced at INR 5,199 and will be available in the coming days.iBall Slide 6309i

Indian computer peripherals maker iBall already sells six Android tablets in the country and Slide 6309i will take the count to seven.

The new tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A9 processor. The display packs 1024x600p resolution, which is not bad for a seven-inch tablet. In addition, Slide 6309i comes with 1GB of RAM, 2GB of on-board storage, and microSD card slot.

Other features of the tablet include 3,000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out and microUSB port. The Slide 6309i also supports 3G data connection via USB dongles.

On the imaging front, iBall has included a 2MP rear camera and VGA front camera on the tablet.

    which type of dongle this tablet support. I have micromax dongle. will it work on that?

      Most dongles work on most tablets, so this should not be an issue. When available, you better ask online retailers. They will be able to provide exact details.

      Hi frnd iball team says it will support Airtel E1731 dongle. No ur dongle will not be supported according to d company.

    looks like a salora protab HD competitor. added rear camera, bluetooth support and Rs 300 cheaper, its availability will only trigger salora to rethink about competition. the only downside is 2GB on-board storage compared to 4GB in salora protab HD.

      the tablet has total 4gb storage, 2gb is used by OS n inbuilt apps. So user has 2gb to use.

        Ya mobiletor says so too. If true, it will beat salora and other budget tablets straight up.
