S Mobility has announced the launch of Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535 smartphone today in the Indian market. The phone is the first smartphone from the company to be powered by a quad-core processor. It will be priced at INR 14,990, when it goes on sale in the last week of this month across the country.
Saholic.com, an S Mobility e-retailer, has already started taking pre-orders for the phone. Spice Mi-535 packs a 5.3-inch qHD display and Android 4.2. The phone also features dual-SIM support and 8-megapixel rear camera.
In addition, Stellar Pinnacle Pro comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and microSD card support. The company has included a 2,550 mAh battery.
The smartphone will be competing with the likes of Micromax A116 Canvas HD, Zen Mobile Ultrafone 701 HD and quad-core phones from Lava and Karbonn. The display resolution remains one of few downsides of the phone.
The unknown Chinese OEM, which built this phone, has also included software features like Pop- up play to play, Flip to Mute to mute, Intelligent Answer, Direct Call, Gesture Screen Lock, Hi Connect, Boot Acceleration & Power Saving Mode. Most of these features were first seen in Samsung smartphones, but since have been ported to some of the Chinese smartphones landing in the country.
