Two new HTC Desire series smartphones have appeared online, suggesting the upcoming release of the phones. Dubbed as HTC Desire 200 and Desire 600, the phones were spotted on a Taiwanese certification site and GFXBench database respectively.
There is no word on the official release of the phones, but we hope to hear something official in the coming days.
As per the Taiwanese certification agency listing, HTC Desire 200 carries the model number 102e. The model number has been in past associated with HTC G2 (codename) entry-level smartphone.
There are no specification details on Taiwan NCC certification site, but as per previous rumours, HTC Desire 200 (102e) aka G2 will come with 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera, 1400 mAh battery and Android.
The phone will most likely be a replacement of Desire C and might be only released in Asia.
On the other hand, Desire 600 will be released in both Europe and Asia and might make its way to other regions too. As per the benchmark listing, the phone will come with qHD display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, Android 4.1 and dual-SIM support.
If these specifications are any indication, Desire 600 will be a mid-range smartphone and might come with a 4-4.5-inch display.
