“Smartphones are a critical component of Lenovo’s PC+ strategy and the Lenovo K900 is an example of this strategy in action. With its cutting-edge design and intuitive, optimized user experience, K900 offers China’s smartphone users a fresh, new option,” said Liu Jun, senior vice president, Lenovo and President of the Lenovo Business Group.

Lenovo has also revealed that it plans to take its smartphone business to more markets. The company already retails its Android phones in select countries including India and Philippines apart from China.

“Lenovo’s smartphone business is growing fast in global markets. In 2013, we will add 10 more countries to our smartphone footprint, and by year-end we will cover most of the world’s emerging markets,” Liu Jun added.

Looks like Lenovo is aiming to be big player in the smartphone arena and it is targeting emerging markets first.

Coming back to Lenovo K900, the smartphone comes with 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, 13MP rear camera, and Android 4.2.
