Within days of getting spotted in Vietnam, HTC has listed the entry-level Desire 200 smartphone on its official website today. The listing does not mention anything on the pricing or availability front.
HTC Desire 200 features a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB RAM and 5MP camera. The phone also comes with 1230 mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot, Beats Audio, and Android 4.0 with HTC Sense.
Desire 200 will be succeeding the company’s previously launched Desire C budget Android phone, but not much has changed apart from the processor in the two devices.

Update: We have some new information on the pricing and availability of the Desire 200. According to a press release shared by HTC Taiwan (first spotted by Android Beat), Desire 200 will go on sale beginning tomorrow in HTC’s home country. Telecom operator Taiwan Mobile will be selling the phone for NT$4990 ($167 or INR 9,780) with contract or cheaper with contracts.
