Huawei launches Ascend Mate in India for INR 24,900

At this launch price, Huawei Ascend Mate will be competing Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Mega smartphones but on paper, Mate looks better than both the phones.

Originally showcased at CES 2013, Huawei Ascend Mate comes with 6.1-inch HD IPS display, quad-core processor and Jelly Bean. The phone also packs 8MP rear camera and 4050 mAh battery.

The company has traditionally released lower mid-range and entry-level devices, but Mate marks its entry to high-end devices in Indian market.
