Motorola to launch Android-powered DVX phone in emerging markets: Report

new-motorola-logoVerizon to get Droid RAZR Ultra and Droid RAZR M Ultra

With Moto X grabbing all the attention, there was hardly any information on Motorola’s other smartphone launches until now. Thanks to evleaks and a report in Phonearena, we now know that Motorola has at-least three more smartphones in pipeline after Moto X.

According to evleaks, which has been very reliable in the past, Motorola is working on two new Android smartphones called ‘Droid RAZR Ultra and Droid RAZR M Ultra’ and these will be released on Verizon in the United States. There are no details available right now but the naming suggests that Droid RAZR Ultra would replace Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR M Ultra will replace Droid RAZR M in Verizon’s portfolio.

Phonearena confirms via its sources that Droid RAZR Ultra and Droid RAZR M Ultra smartphones are indeed real and adds that Motorola is also working on a budget Android phone. The entry-level smartphone is known as DVX (probably codename) and it will be released in the emerging markets.

Motorola DVX is set to be released later this year but nothing else is known about DVX at this moment. We hope to hear more about all three devices in the coming days and also the company should reveal a little about them at Moto X launch.
