He also announced that Galaxy S4 sales are going good and investors should not worry. His statement comes on the heels of a JP Morgan report that stated that Samsung has faced significant setback in Galaxy S4. Soon after this report, Samsung shares took a dive and touched a four-month low.
“I can say sales of the Galaxy S4 smartphone are fine. It’s been selling well,” Shin Jong-kyun told media. “The report (by JPMorgan) was based on its own analysis. Probably, the bank may have corrected its previous bullish estimate about the S4 sales,” he added.
Coming back to the company’s mirror-less camera, there are no details available right now but it might be dubbed as Galaxy Camera 2.
In related news, Samsung yesterday announced its cameraphone variant of Galaxy S4 smartphone, which is more like a variant of Galaxy S4 mini. Dubbed as Galaxy S4 zoom, the phone comes with 16MP camera with 10x optical zoom.
