Samsung Galaxy NX official; Android, big sensor, lenses & LTE in tow

Samsung’s mirror-less Android camera Galaxy NX is official. The company today announced it at a press event in London and it is world’s first mirror-less interchangeable lens Android camera with 4G LTE.  Samsung Galaxy NX

Running on Android 4.2, Samsung Galaxy NX comes with two processors – Samsung’s DRIMeIV Image processor for imaging and quad-core 1.6GHz CPU for the system operations. Both the chips work in tandem to provide the best possible imaging output the consumers.

Like other cameras in Samsung’s NX-series, Galaxy NX is also compatible with the 13 lenses available for NX family including the recently announced 10mm F3.5 Fisheye lens. So, you are getting a professional imaging experience with support for thousands of apps in Galaxy NX.

For those who want to express themselves and the exciting moments that make up their lives quickly, easily and on the go, the GALAXY NX is an ideal choice” said Myoung Sup Han, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics.

According to Samsung, Galaxy NX will be available sometime in Q3 in markets across the globe. There is no word on pricing right now but we expect it to be around $1000 at launch.
