HTC is reportedly planning to add another smartphone to its Desire line-up in the form of Desire 500. The company has sent out invites to the tech press in Taiwan to announce this phone, where HTC will also reveal the Taiwan launch plans of this phone on a local telecom operator.
There are no details available about the phone at this point but it is will probably be a mid-range device. A quick Google search revealed that the phone has also been spotted in leaked document from telecom operator O2, which also does not contain any information about the phone apart from its name and the phone will probably be released on O2 in the future.
To remind you, the company has already announced two Desire-series models this year – Desire 200 and Desire 600, out of which Desire 600 is already on sale in the country.
