Moto X promo video and specs leaked, coming in August

Moto X leaks are coming in like anything. After recent sighting in the hands of Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, we now have a Moto X promo video created by Canadian telecom operator Rogers.

As per this video, Rogers will release Moto X next month in Black and White colours. We are also hearing an August 8 launch date for United States, so both these reports pretty much confirm that Moto X phone is coming in August.

The video also reveals that Moto X come with a new notification system that will show notifications on the screen of the phone rather than blinking a notification light or something. The phone also seems to sport a tweaked camera app that removes the need of a shutter or capture button and you can click anywhere on the screen to take a picture. Long-press will increase the count of the taken images (burst shot).

The phone will also come with a new voice command system (called Moto Magic), which is always on. This voice command system works with Google Now to answer user queries or perform tasks. You can check out a video and screenshot of Moto Magic below as well.

In a separate leak, key specifications of Moto X smartphone have been outed via a Reddit user. As per the specifications, the phone will come with 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 1280x720p display and Android 4.2.

Another rumour has pegged the display to be around 4.4-inches, which seems about right considering all the display size that we have seen in all the recent leaks. Among other details, we already know that the phone features a 10MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

So, as of now we pretty know everything about Moto X apart from the actual availability date, where will the phone be available around the globe and the final pricing.
