BLU announces trio of Dash series Android phones, priced starting just $49


BLU Dash JRAndroid phones are getting cheaper with every passing day and if you don’t believe it, take a look at BLU Products’ Dash JR smartphone, which has been announced today along with Dash 4.0 and Dash 5.0 and costs just $49 unlocked.

BLU Dash JR might not a super phone but an Android smartphone at $49 will surely help bringing smartphones in the reach of more consumers.

“Almost 1 billion feature phones are going to be shipped this year. Our job is to facilitate the transition from feature phones by bringing affordable internet and smartphone connectivity to consumers without compromise on quality, user experience and overall satisfaction.” said Samuel Ohev-Zion, CEO, BLU Products.

BLU Dash JR features 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, Android 2.3, 2MP rear camera, and dual-SIM support.

If you are not too impressed with Dash JR, may be this will cheer you up a bit. BLU Dash Music 4.0, second in the newly announced trio of Dash series phones, features 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch WVGA display, 3.2MP rear camera, microSD card slot, Android 4.2 and dual-SIM support. It has been priced at just $99 unlocked.BLU Dash Music 4.0

Last of the three, BLU Dash 5.0 comes with 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor like Dash 4.0, Android 4.2 and 5MP rear camera. It will be sold for $129 unlocked.BLU DASH 5.0

All three phones will be sold via Amazon, Best Buy in United States sometime around end of September. The phone will also be available in Latin American countries soon after.
