Google Play TV Shows now available in UK

Google has silently rolled-out Google Play TV Shows in UK.  It is the second country after United States to get access to TV shows. Search giant has updated the ‘International availability of contentGoogle Play TV Shows UK

The available TV shows include a decent mix of UK and US television like Luther, Walking Dead, Homeland, House etc.

In terms of the pricing, the individual episodes are going for 1.89GBP for SD and more for HD in most cases, however there are several good offers for full seasons. You can both stream or download TV Shows from Google Play Movies and TV; however the web player only supports streaming at this moment.

Google has become very aggressive in bringing more content to Play Store in more countries and we recently saw the availability of Play Books in 13 European countries and also folks in Australia and New Zealand got Play Music All Access.

Update: Google UK has confirmed the arrival of Google Play TV shows in UK on Google+. An excerpt from their Google+ status:
