The Bloomberg report cites two sources claiming that this smartwatch will be able make phone calls, surf the web and check emails. Based on Android, this wristwatch cum smartphone will go on sale later this year but the exact availability details are unclear at this moment.

The report also notes that Galaxy Gear won’t feature flexible display unlike some reports that suggested otherwise.

Bloomberg notes:

The Galaxy Gear being released next month won’t have a flexible display, though the company is continuing to work on developing a bendable screen, one person said.

Other details about Samsung Galaxy Gear are a mystery at this moment but the actual announcement is not very far right now and given the past track record, we expect to see more leaks before the announcement.
