XOLO to launch NVIDIA Tegra Note in India

NVIDIA has revealed that XOLO will be its partner for the launch of Tegra Note in the Indian market. As, XOLO is yet to reveal details about Tegra Note release in the country, we are not sure if Tegra Note will be called Tegra Note or will get a XOLO branding in the country. Considering that Tegra Note is just reference tablet, it is more likely to get XOLO branding.NVIDIA Tegra Note

On the pricing front, NVDIA has announced that Tegra Note will retail for starting $199, so we can expect to see the tablet get priced around INR 13,000 or INR 14,000 in India. The tablet is expected to go on sale beginning next month i.e. October in the country.

NVIDIA’s Tegra Note looks like a great tablet for the given price-tag. It is powered by the company’s flagship Tegra 4 quad-core SoC. It runs on Jelly Bean (exact version unknown) and will get future software updates over-the-air directly from NVIDIA.

The tablet also comes with 7-inch 1280x800p resolution display, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 16GB of storage and microSD card slot. The tablet also packs a stylus, 4100 mAh battery, Wi-Fi support, Micro-HDMI out.

while 13 or 14k seems like a good price for an official nvidia tablet, i cant help but think its still too costly for the OKish config…

While Samsung is selling Tab 3 for more than 15K and Google Nexus 7 (earlier version) is selling for 12K, I think 13 to 14K is the right price for this config!
