Game developer King has announced that its popular title Candy Crush Saga is now available on Amazon Appstore and will support all Kindle Fire tablets including HDX. It will initially be available in limited markets but the worldwide release is scheduled for October 17, which is just two days away.
“We’ve had such positive feedback from players regarding King’s first Kindle Fire title, Bubble Witch Saga, that we now feel the time is right to bring Candy Crush Saga to Kindle Fire fans,” said Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King.
Candy Crush Saga is one of the most popular casual games in the world, with over 53 million daily players and the number is expected to increase with the release in Amazon Appstore.
To remind you, the game is a variation of match-three games such as Bejeweled. Each level has a game board filled with differently coloured candies, and might contain obstacles. The basic move of this game is horizontally or vertically swapping the positions of two adjacent candies, to create sets of three (or more) candies of the same colour.
It comes with over 400 levels and players can synchronise their progression across a number of devices via Facebook, allowing users to play anytime, anywhere.
